April 2002
Night Jade states quite simply in her own words, "I
lost two close friends to suicide in the summer of 2000.
This was sort of an outlet, part of the beginning of my
letting go of this past, of finally starting to move on."

March 2003
Most of us have sat at one time or another and listened
to the rain pitter patter against the window. Night Jade
didn't just listen, she wrote too! In her own words, "When
I wrote this one, rain was drizzling down in that depressing
manner it has during winter, and I was simply watching it
as it slipped like tears down my window."

Night Jade says, "Just sat staring out my window --
again -- and I was listening to a song which always makes
me think of a medieval village feast with the peasants all
coming out and just celebrating, whatever it is. I chose
a wedding in this case as it's always a cause for celebration."

August 2003
This was written in the aftermath of a thunder storm. You
can almost feel the rain!

Letting
Go
I think the title and the piece itself say more than I
could.
|
Forget
and Remember
I think sometimes we remember the things we should forget
and vice versa, this piece made me sit and think a little
longer than normal.
|
Feeling
at home
A nice short piece depicting an moment in school life.
All names are fictitious, any resemblance to real life people
is purely coincidental.

My
Hideaway
I really enjoyed this. Night Jade's prompt was to "describe
a memorable place", having read this I wouldn't mind
hiding away there myself!
