This piece was written by Robert in 1997. In his own words
he tells us, "This was my first (and last) attempt
at poetry. It was all the rage in my hometown at the time
so I thought I would give it a stab. As usual, my interest
in Nature and the writings of Henry David Thoreau, are reflected
in the subject of this piece."
